Make Norigae and Korean traditional fan in KCC Indonesia
On Monday,
November 18, 2019, the Korean Cultural Center Indonesia held an event that was
making Norigae handicrafts and traditional Korean fans, and also watched the
theater performance "The Last Empress".

Korean event or event held directly at the Korean cultural center in Indonesia,

Norigae, a traditional
accessory originating from Korea, is increasingly stealing the market's

consists of 4 parts, namely ddion (hook for attaching Norigae to clothes or
hanbok), paemul (main ornament of Norigae), maedeup (knot), and sul (tassel).
Ornaments in norigae usually adapt the forms that exist in nature and everyday
life
This
accessory that looks like a colorful fabric tassel turns out to be not only
limited to the usual ornaments that adorn clothing. Norigae also functions as
good-luck charm which is a symbol of luck, wealth, and fertility. Generally,
norigae is inherited from generation to generation.
With the
large number of K-Pop and K-Drama fans in Indonesia, the Korean wave that has
hit young people and teenagers can become a potential market for norigae
business. Because, there are still very few who sell norigae to complement the
needs of hanbok accessories or authentic fashion items, especially with premium
quality.
After the
people finished making norigae and Korean traditional fans, they continued to
watch the theater performance "The Last Empress", which was prepared
by the Korean culture.
The last
empress tells of a hypothetical constitutional monarchy in 2018, and follows
the story of a musical actress who married the emperor of the Korean Empire. He
sought true love and happiness as he struggled through court life, and was
entangled in the assassination of the emperor's grandmother, which led to the
death of the imperial family.
