On the day of the ceremony, on the morning of the new year, all family members gathered in the worship hall complete wearing new clothes typical of Korea to welcome the new year. This tradition is called seolbim.

Yut nori is a traditional board game in Korea that is played on a special patterned cloth. This game is played by two teams using dice, pawns, or small sticks called yut sticks that are about 18 cm in size.
While gonggi nori is a game similar to bekel, but the difference is gonggi nori is played without using a ball. Gonggi nori can be played with gravel or stone made of wood or plastic gonggi.
