Korean festivals at Jakarta's Global mandiri school showcase Hanbook Korean traditional clothes made of beautiful and unique plastic waste







On Saturday, February 22, 2020, one of the schools in Jakarta held an event with the theme "Korean Festival School". A lot of events were held in this event, there was a very interesting thing that is "Hanbook fashion show" This fashion show shows hanbook or Korean traditional clothes but the main ingredient is waste plastic that is made and processed into a very beautiful hanbook.



The hanbook fashion show was attended by 7 participants, each participant created a hanbook from waste plastic waste, lots of variations and models that they made from the top of the clothes, the bottom of the clothes and not forgetting to miss the hat section were also made using plastic waste materials.



In this event there is also the KCC Booth or Korean Cultural Center Indonesia, in this KCC Booth there are many activities that we follow, such as making traditional fan toys, making names using Hangul, making traditional South Korean traditional hangers, or painting on paper fans, and they can also taste the traditional food of South Korea that is tteok a kind of rice cake that tastes sweet inside there is liquid sugar, and they can also taste some snacks from Korea, at the KCC booth also provided cultural books, some information about South Korean culture.



After the Hanbook fashion show, there was a Dance cover event, here there were 6 groups that performed with different dances, after the song was played and they began to dance the visitors who attended the event were very excited and recorded using their cellphones to just simply just immortalize it.



After the dance cover, there were also Sing Cover participants in this event there were only 4 people with very beautiful and melodious voices, of course they all brought Korean songs that made the listeners who were present sing along with us all like being karaoke together in the middle of the field, this event very exciting and exciting.



Not only that, in this Korean event there are a lot of people who sell KPop food or goods, the food they sell such as ttaebokki, odeng and others, as for the KPop items they sell such as albums, stickers, Korean artist photos, key chains and still many others.
