held a webinar via online because considering the current condition of the
corona virus outbreak, the theme that will be presented in this webinar is
"current status and future of hallyu in. Indonesia".
The person filling the event in this
webinar is Dr. Andrew Eungi Kim as Korea University professor who will discuss
the theme "the rise of Korean popular culture as a global phenomenom, then
who will fill this event is MS. Crishtle Stefanie as a journalist from CNN
Indonesia will discuss "past and present of hallyu in Indonesia", the
next one who will fill this event is Ms. Fitri meutia, S.S., M.A. as a
professor of the Korean language study program at the National University of
Jakarta Indonesia, discussing "lets keep flying hallyu", then Dr.
Suray Agung Nugroho as moderator in this webinar.
The term hallyu or Korean wave is
phenomenal, especially in Indonesia because there are so many who are
interested in South Korea, many Indonesians like kpop songs and many are
learning Korean. Hallyu Referring to Korean popular in the world, hallyu was
spread through Korean dramas throughout Asia in the past but now it has spread
throughout the world and Korean culture has become a trend center from all over
the world, previously this only refers to drama but now there are many things,
for example in the field of beauty, health, kpop and medicine.
Kpop is a hallyu that is very famous
until now, it was originally from Korean dramas but now from kpop the first
