Quiz on Korea at the Korean Cultural center went well even though it was held online

 

On Friday, November 20, 2020, the Korean cultural center of Indonesia held an event, namely QUIZ ON KOREA, this quiz is routinely held every year and is supported by MCST (Ministry of Culture Sport and tourism republic of Korea), every year quiz on Korea is held at the cultural center Korea directly, but because in Indonesia there is still an outbreak of the Corona virus, this quiz is held online through Zoom and guided directly by the KCC and representatives from the embassy of the Republic of Korea in Indonesia.

About 60 people took the quiz, both individuals and from institutions such as universities or Korean language tutoring institutions in Indonesia.

Before starting the quiz, we all explain about this quiz. From the number of questions, the choice of questions and how to answer the questions, there are three parts to this quiz.

First answer with (O) if the statement given is true, or answer with (X) if the statement given is wrong, where do we answer it? Each of us must prepare a paper that says (O) and (X) on both sides of the paper we have.

Second, answer questions in Korean writing (Hangeul), we must have each paper, then the questions given by KCC are in writing, and we also answer in Korean characters, For example, there is a question like this: a very famous river in Korea, then the answer: (한강).

Third, we will be given questions in the form of Korean listening, and we have to answer and write answers on paper using Korean characters.

This event is very good to hone the extent to which we know about South Korea, in this quiz everything is discussed in the fields of culture, K-Pop, K-food, k-Tourism and many more.

Silhak movement in the Joseon Dynasty in South Korea

Since the beginning of the 17th century, a movement that advocated Silhak, or learning about practical matters, gained considerable momentum among liberal-minded scholars as a tool for building a modern nation.
