KCC Indonesia presents a special program with the theme of Taekwondo

 

The Korean Cultural Center Indonesia presents a special program with the theme of Taekwondo, with the theme Spirit of Taekwondo, this online event is held every Sunday at 13:00 WIB (Indonesian Time) from 23 May to 13 June 2021. This program can be watched live through KCC Indonesia's YouTube channel.

This series consists of 4 episodes. The first episode will discuss Taekwondo explanation, Oh dae Jeong-sin's explanation in Taekwondo, and the application of YE-UI and YEOM-CHI which are part of Oh dae Jeong-sin or 5 Basic Principles of Taekwondo, For you For sports lovers, especially Taekwondo and those who want to get to know Taekwondo more deeply, don't miss the time of the program and it's really mandatory to watch this program, because there are so many knowledge and benefits of learning something.

Silhak movement in the Joseon Dynasty in South Korea

Since the beginning of the 17th century, a movement that advocated Silhak, or learning about practical matters, gained considerable momentum among liberal-minded scholars as a tool for building a modern nation. They strongly advocate for improvements in agriculture and industry, in line with comprehensive reforms in terms of land distribution. However, the nobles of conservative governments were not ready to make such drastic changes. In the second half of the Joseon Dynasty, the administration of government and the upper classes was marked by factionalism or the formation of groups which appeared repeatedly. To clear up the unwanted political situation, King Yeongjo (1724-1776) finally adopted an impartial policy. Thus he was able to strengthen the authority of the King and create political stability.
