Jeju island HAENYEO and Bali island meet in a photo exhibition

 

To celebrate the 21st World Tourism Day, which falls on 27 September 2021, a photo exhibition titled 'Jeju-Bali Photo Exhibition' will be held at a shopping center in Jakarta starting on 27 September 2021.

This photo exhibition will be held offline for seven consecutive days. This photo exhibition is the result of a collaboration between the Korean Cultural Center Indonesia (KCCI), the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Indonesia, the Korean Tourism Organization (KTO) Jakarta, the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), and the Jeju City Government.

This exhibition was held by implementing the Covid-19 health protocol for visitors in accordance with the applicable DKI Jakarta provincial government policies such as maintaining distance and others. This photo exhibition consists of a total of four exhibition halls. Each room will display a series of photos of the Jeju World Heritage Site presented by KTO Jakarta, photos of the World Heritage Site of Bali presented by KOCCA, photos and videos with the theme 'HAENYEO' by famous Brazilian photographers who are included in National Geographic's photo selection list. . In addition, visitors can also see the diving equipment belonging to the Haenyeo (Jeju female divers) provided by the Jeju Haenyeo Museum.

This photo exhibition was held with the hope of building a platform for cooperation and for the mutual growth of the two countries by promoting various approaches to superior cultural and tourism content. In addition, this exhibition is expected to be an entertainment for the mind and body that are tired due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
