Opening Ceremony and K-Content Supporter Orientation from Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) Indonesia


KOCCA or Korea Creative Content Agency is an institution under the auspices of the Korean Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Sports whose task is to introduce content from South Korea which includes games, music, animation, broadcasting, food, fashion, literature and comics.

To support and ensure that the content is conveyed to the international community, KOCCA has opened several branch offices in a number of countries and one of them is in Indonesia, located at APL Tower 11th floor, central park, West Jakarta, the Kocca Indonesia office has complete facilities to provide an accurate picture of Korean creative content, and at the end of 2022 KOCCA plans to move offices to Lotte shopping avenue Jakarta where there will be a representative SM Entertainment office in the same area as KOCCA.

On Friday, July 8, 2022, the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) located in Jakarta Indonesia held an opening ceremony and orientation for online supporters called "K-Content Supporters", this community has been held for the second year. The goal is that this community is created to promote the content of the Korean creative industry world to the Indonesian people through postings on social media platforms such as Instagram, the supporters also make reviews of content products that have been enjoyed, for example one of the supporters has watched the animation "Larva" then after being watched watch must provide a review of the animation that has been watched. This community consists of 10 people with different backgrounds but still has the same goal, which is to introduce the world of Korean creative content to the Indonesian people.

In yesterday's orientation, the members of the k-content supporter community were very enthusiastic about participating in the event from start to finish, they couldn't wait to start the activities that are carried out every month, the missions given by KOCCA to members are given at the beginning of every month and the posting period is until the 20th. every month, from the conversations held yesterday, every supporter already has views and concepts that they will do later, the period of this activity is up to 6 months starting from this month. In this activity, supporters must remain careful in making posts because they do not get copyrighted and all posts made must be based on clear and accurate sources so that they are not wrong in providing information.

Kocca hopes that by holding this online supporter, it can have a very positive impact on the progress of the Korean creative industry in Indonesia and can be deeper in knowing and getting to know about the many diverse Korean content.
