Watching the Movie "Alienoid" Together (Sahabat Korea) Supporting Online Media From The Embassy Of The Republic Of Korea In Indonesia
On
Friday, July 29, 2022, the "Movie night with Friends of Korea 2022"
event, Sahabat Korea is an online supporter program formed by the Embassy of
the Republic of Korea in Indonesia, the purpose of the establishment of "Sahabat
Korea" is to help the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Indonesia in
promoting public diplomacy between the two countries, namely Indonesia and
Korea or vice versa by making posts and posting them on social media platforms
such as Instagram.
This
year 2022 is the 4th generation of "Sahabat Korea", since it was
first formed in 2019, and on this occasion "Sahabat Korea 2022" held
the first offline event since the covid-19 pandemic hit in Indonesia, we all
watched movies together , the film being watched is a film from South Korea
entitled "Alienoid". Alienoid is the latest Korean film that carries
the sci-fi and action genre about traveling across space and time to chase
alien prisoners. The film stars Ryu Jun-yeol, Kim Tae-ri, and Kim Woo-bin.
Alienoid tells the story of the appearance of aliens on earth in the modern
era. The aliens use the human brain as a prison for their captives. Guard (Kim
Woo-bin) is in charge of managing alien prisoners confined to human brains. He
also chases prisoners who escaped from prison with the help of his robot
partner, Thunder.
They
chase the aliens to travel across space and time, though never intervene in
human affairs. One day, they accidentally create a small gap while carrying out
an capture mission in the world of the 14th century. Not only that, the Guard
also imprisoned a group of convicts from a planet who were sent to earth. The
mission causes an unexpected clash between extraterrestrial powers on Earth,
thereby opening a portal between the 14th and 21st centuries.
Meanwhile,
life in the 14th century during the Goryeo Dynasty is colored by the quest for
the legendary Divine Sword. The search for the magic weapon involved a number
of warriors from different groups. One of them is Mureuk (Ryu Jun-yeol), a
clumsy swordsman from the Taoist group. In the search, Mureuk meets Lee Ahn
(Kim Tae-ri) who has the same mission.
This
event was very interesting and lively because our fellow "Sahabat Korea"
members chatted with each other and took pictures together, and after this
event ended there were a lot of positive responses from several members of
"Sahabat Korea" and impressions and messages about the movie
Alienoid.
(For
the Sahabat Korea event yesterday it was really fun! The first time I met
friends "Sahabat Korea" face to face and sharing about the program
"Sahabat Korea" then for the movie "Alienoid" yesterday was
really fun! I liked all the scenes! The fantasy and action section in the
future for the "Sahabat Korea" event, hopefully there will be more) -

(Yesterday's
event was really fun, I was able to meet for the first time with friends "Sahabat
Korea" at a special event for children " Sahabat Korea ". The
response to the film that was watched yesterday Was beyond expectations! The
CGI is really cool! Satisfying visualization about aliens and their UFOs.
Although there are many action scenes, there is still a comedy element) -

(The
program is interesting, and it starts on time, especially when you watch a film
that has just been released in Korea, so it's an honor to be able to watch it
first and be able to make a review as well. Responses to the film you watched
yesterday. laugh, the effect is okay, even though the plot of the film goes
back and forth but all (actors and actresses) the main players and supporting
players have succeeded in making the audience hypnotized by each of the
characters they play. In my opinion, the name of the film could be shortened, both
in terms of story and duration. And if possible, the " Sahabat Korea "
event will be held in a strategic location that is easy to reach and also on
weekends because on weekdays, there are members of Sahabat Korea who work,
maybe also college, and those who want to come must catch up with the time in
Jakarta traffic jams to arrive on time at the provided place) - insta gram :

(The
program was fun, even though I didn't participate from the beginning, but I was
able to experience the " Sahabat Korea " program offline, meet new
friends from various backgrounds who have the same hobby, which is about Korea.
Responses to the film I watched yesterday: The film Aleonid was amazing , this
is the first time I've watched a sci-fi genre film that makes me curious when I
watch it. Moreover, the film combines modern and traditional elements in Korea.
The story is also mind-blowing, you can't predict and it's exciting every time
travel scene. I really hope for the future. " Sahabat Korea " has
more offline events like yesterday, so that we members of " Sahabat Korea "
know each other better and the bonding is stronger too, of course.) - Instagram
