4 Seasons in Korea
Korea has four seasons, namely the rainy season and summer in the middle of the year, and winter from November to March. Jeju Island which is located on the southern coast is classified as the warmest and wettest region in Korea. The most ideal time to visit Korea is between the autumn months, which is September to November.
During
the autumn period, the climate in Korea is quite warm, the weather is sunny,
the sky is blue, the leaves are very amazing and very attractive. Very cold and
dry winters are a great time to visit Korea if you are interested in winter
sports, as Korea has many places for skiing. Spring which starts from April to
May is also very beautiful with cherry blossoms in bloom. However, this season
is quite a busy season for visiting Korea, so you need to book in advance to be
able to ensure the accommodations available. The summer months are very humid
as well as hot and a bit crowded, because when the rainy season arrives, there
are many activities that must be adapted to heavy rain fluctuations.
The
Difference of the Four Seasons
Korea's
climate is classified as a continental climate if it is seen from the
temperature and the blowing wind and rainfall. Korea's climate is divided into
four types of seasons, namely: spring, summer, autumn, and winter.
