KCCI Appreciation for Honorary Journalists of Korea.net 2022



The Korean Cultural Center Indonesia (KCCI), under the leadership of Director Kim Yong Woon, held an Appreciation Day for Honorary Journalists and K-influencers Korea.net from Indonesia for the 2022 term of office. The event took place on January 27, 2023 offline at the KCCI office, Jakarta, as well as broadcast via online platforms to reach outside Jabodetabek.

This event was held as a form of appreciation for Honorary Journalists and K-influencers. “For a year, you have created various articles and content about Korea. We really appreciate this,” said Director Kim Yong Woon.

In this event, KCCI gave awards to eight people submitted by Director Kim Yong Woon. The eight people selected came from various cities, namely Jakarta, Bandung, Bogor, Depok, Bekasi and Tulungagung. They were selected based on curation by KCCI.

On the same occasion, Director Kim Yong Woon conveyed a message of hope for the participation of Honorary Journalists and K-influencers in the celebration of 50 years of friendly relations between South Korea and Indonesia. "Moreover, this year is a special year for the Republic of Korea and the Republic of Indonesia. We look forward to your participation and support for various programs that will be implemented in this momentum," said Director Kim Yong Woon.

The works and content of Honorary Journalists and K-influencers can be found on the Korea.net website and the Koreanet YouTube channel. For information, in 2022 the Korea.net channel will be inaugurated in Indonesian and 405 Korean.net Honorary Journalists will be appointed who are domiciled in various regions in Indonesia.
