Telephone talks between president Moon Jae-In (South Korea) and president Joko Widodo (Indonesia) regarding the COVID-19 issue that occurred between the two countries

President Moon said that "I hear that Indonesia is experiencing a surge in cases of infection with the Covid-19 epidemic and death so that the Indonesian Government is exerting all its efforts to overcome it, one of which is by setting the status of the country's disaster. I am sure Indonesia will soon overcome the Covid-19 outbreak with good cooperation between the Government and its people under the leadership of President Jokowi. "

In addition, President Moon underlined that the most important thing in overcoming the Covid-19 outbreak was close cooperation and solidarity at the level of world community. The plan, President Moon will strengthen international cooperation through various steps such as providing outbreak control products and medical devices, sharing experiences on epidemic control and clinical data, ensuring the mobility of core workers such as entrepreneurs, and working together to develop vaccines and medicines that cure Covid -19.

President Joko Widodo expressed his appreciation for the contribution made by the Republic of Korea to jointly overcome the Covid-19 crisis with the international world through the provision of products to deal with the disease outbreak. President Joko Widodo also expressed his determination and invited the Republic of Korea to jointly take part in strengthening international cooperation.
