Gwangyang Maehwa Festival

This spring festival in Korea also has a bed of apricot blossoms along the banks of the Nakdonggang River which is sure to be very eye-catching! This festival is usually held for two days. Since the beginning of the 17th century, a movement that advocated Silhak, or learning about practical matters, gained considerable momentum among liberal-minded scholars as a tool for building a modern nation.
