Seoul City Tour Bus Back in Operation and Wi-Fi Internet Service for the Public in Seoul Now Four Times Faster!

The Seoul City Tour Bus resumed operations on April 3 after being temporarily closed in March to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease. The Seoul City Tour Bus is a tourist transportation method that allows tourists to visit all the major tourist attractions in Seoul efficiently.

To prevent the spread of the corona virus disease, only four of the six routes will be operated, namely the City Center / Palace / Namsan Route, the Night Route, the Traditional Cultural Route, and the Hangang / Jamsil Route. To celebrate this, there will be a limited time discount for all ticket prices. All buses will adhere to strict disease precautions during operation.

Starting May 1, major tourist attractions and 17 parks in Seoul will provide Kkachi On, a public Wi-Fi service that is four times faster than the previous free Wi-Fi. To use this service, connect your smartphone to the “SEOUL_Secure” network. After initial setup, the network will connect automatically at any location with Kkachi On.

Locations that provide: Gwanghwamun Square, Saejongdae-ro Saramsup-gil, Seoullo 7017, Deoksugung Doldam-gil, Five Royal Palaces (Gyeongbokgung Palace, Gyeonghuigung Palace, Deoksugung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace, Changgyeonggung Palace) & Jongmyo Shrine, Namdaemun Market, Hanok Village Namsangol, Hangang Gardens, etc.

How to use: Turn on the Wi-Fi on your smartphone → connect to "SEOUL_Secure" (secure connection) or "SEOUL" (normal connection) * To access "SEOUL_Secure" use ID: seoul and KS (Password): seoul → choose not to use an authentication certificate (automatic connection after initial setup) - Android: Enter ID and KS → select EAP REAP method → disable second authentication → choose not to use CA authentication → select “automatic reconnection” - iOS: Enter ID and KS → select "trust radius certification") * To access a regular connection, click the button in the middle (you must click the access button every time you want to use a connection in a new location).
