Strengthen cooperation with Indonesia, South Korea's foreign minister visits Indonesia
The
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Korea "Chung
Eui-Yong" will visit Vietnam, Singapore and Indonesia this week from June
21 to June 25, 2021, the three countries are the main cooperation partners for
South Korea in this regard (NEW SOUTHERN POLICY). The South Korean foreign
minister's visit to Indonesia is scheduled for June 25, 2021.
This
series of visits by the South Korean foreign minister to Southeast Asia is the
first face-to-face meeting after being sworn in as South Korea's foreign
minister in February 2021.
In
his activities, foreign minister Chung Eui-Yong will hold a meeting with other
ministers and high-ranking officials, the topics of discussion include
cooperation measures in the health sector including pandemic response, economic
recovery and various other regional challenges.
