If you are one of those people who really like Korean dramas, you must have realized that there are several shooting locations that are familiar and (actually) you can visit while on vacation in South Korea. Starting from Nami Island for the drama series Winter Sonata, to N Seoul Tower for the drama series Boys Over Flowers, the following is a list of 11 vacation destinations that you can add to your itinerary, if you want to go on vacation to South Korea, come visit this place!

Nami Island

Who doesn't know this drama series? Winter Sonata is even touted as the first drama series to successfully market Korean dramas throughout Asia. Most of the unforgettable scenes were shot on this island, and since then, the island has always been crowded with visitors curious about its original location.

Sanmotoonge Café

For coffee fans, you definitely can't miss this one cafe. Besides serving coffee (order an Americano), this two-story cafe is also famous for its beautiful view. The best time to enjoy this place is before sunset, because you can enjoy the sunset while sipping coffee upstairs, or sit back and relax in the garden next to the cafe while drinking a cup of warm coffee, if only there was Gong Yoo like in the drama series Coffee Prince, definitely so perfect!

Petite France

The area, which is made similar to Strasbourg, France, is located in the Gyeonggi area, Korea. The location itself is a bit far from the city center in Seoul, and even closer to Nami Island. Petite France itself is actually a theme park, and is iconic with its statue of the Little Prince - the fictional character of Saint-Exupery, author of the legendary novel Le Petit France. Well, if you've watched My Love from the Stars, you'll remember the scene where Do Min-joon (played by Kim Soo-hyun) kisses Cheon Song-yi (played by Jun Ji-hyun). Set in colorful tiny houses and beautiful little lights, this scene has successfully become one of the most romantic scenes in the history of the Korean drama series.
