3 Winter Sights in Daegu and Gyeongbuk Korea that you must visit

As a country that has four seasons, adventure in South Korea is endless. There are many tourist destinations to visit. In fact, apart from Seoul City, there are two areas, namely Daegu City and Gyeongbuk Province which are no less interesting to visit, especially during winter like today.

Enjoying the view of the snowy mountains on Mount Sobaek

Gyeongsangbuk (Gyeongbuk) Province has a number of beautiful mountains in winter. One of the best winter views can be enjoyed from Mount Sobaek (Sobaeksan) in Yeongju County. To enjoy the panoramic view of the mountains whose peaks are covered with snow, we can do hiking activities in the third largest mountain national park in Korea. Don't forget to prepare stamina.

E-World Starlight Festival

E-World Tower is an observatory that can see a wide view of Daegu City. The tower is a symbol of Daegu City which has a rotating restaurant and Sky Lounge facility.

In winter, the tourist destination hosts the E-World Starlight Festival. During the festival period, the area of 429,752 square meters will be decorated with beautifully lit flowers and create a romantic atmosphere. Visitors can visit the Starlight Rose Garden area at Dynamic Plaza, Starlight Hydrangea Garden at Adventure Plaza, and Starlight Lily Garden at Romantic Hill.

Anti-mainstream hiking at Mount Juwangsan

Still in Gyeongbuk Province, if you like activities that are close to nature, you can try hiking on Mount Juwangsan in the Baekdusan mountains. The mountain has deep valleys and many sheer rock cliffs.

Although, having a not so large area of 105,582 square kilometers, Mount Juwangsan is good for a leisurely walk with a trail that runs along the valley to the waterfall. In Juwangsan National Park there are also four waterfalls, caves, Daejeonsa Temple, and tourist attractions.
