Korean Cultural Center Indonesia (KCCI) is looking for Hallyu communities all over Indonesia! Selected communities will receive support from KCCI.

 Community category:

 1. Language Category

 A community whose activities focus on learning Korean.

 2. General Category

 A community from various fields related to Korea.

 For example: local Korean lovers community, taekwondo club, Korean lovers club at school/college associations, music and/or traditional, Korean tourism lovers, K-Drama lovers, historical studies, K-Pop cover (sing/dance) communities, actors K-Beauty/K-Fashion, K-Artist fandom, fanart, Hallyu media, merchandise collector club, and more

 Community requirements:

 - Domiciled and active in Indonesia

 - Activities offline (offline) and/or online (online)

 - Carry out activities according to the above categories

 - Communities that can register: new community formed (2022); existing community (never or have ever registered in the Wanted! Hallyu community program)

 - Communities can be independent, those in schools / campuses, and others (free, no restrictions)

 - Community is active

 Registration period: 21 March - 26 May 2022

Silhak movement in the Joseon Dynasty in South Korea

Since the beginning of the 17th century, a movement that advocated Silhak, or learning about practical matters, gained considerable momentum among liberal-minded scholars as a tool for building a modern nation. They strongly advocate for improvements in agriculture and industry, in line with comprehensive reforms in terms of land distribution. However, the nobles of conservative governments were not ready to make such drastic changes. In the second half of the Joseon Dynasty, the administration of government and the upper classes was marked by factionalism or the formation of groups which appeared repeatedly.
