Trying snacks in the Dongseongno Daegu area of South Korea

Today I am in Daegu city, Daegu City is one of the largest Metropolitan City in South Korea. Daegu City has the slogan "Colorful Daegu" which is a diverse, vibrant city and the heart of Korean modernization.

The location of Daegu City is surrounded by hills so the climate here is very cool. To get here (Daegu City) you can use the fast train with a distance of 1.5 hours from Seoul City. During the spring like today, there are many romantic tourist destinations that can be visited including Mount Biseulsan with its purple azalea flower beds, Suseong lake which is beautiful at night and E-World 83 Tower as a landmark of the city of Daegu."

On this occasion I visited one of the most famous shopping centers in Daegu which is located in the middle of the city, namely the "dongseongno" area. Dongseongno is the busiest shopping street in Daegu, full of youthful enthusiasm all year round. On the street, there are luxury department stores, shopping malls and many branded shops for clothing and sporting goods. Various cultural halls, bookstores, cinemas and performance spaces line the streets.

But not only that, in this area there are also many modern restaurants to restaurants that provide traditional Korean food, and there are also street food that you must buy if you visit here!

The first food I bought was strawberries, these strawberries taste a little sour! Which is coated with hardened liquid sugar and then pierced using a wooden skewer, for the taste of this dish I really like the combination of the slightly sour strawberries in Baluri with sweet sugar making this food perfect for snacks or desserts after a heavy meal! For the price of this meal around 2,000 Won.

The food I tried next was Hotteok, Hotteok is a pancake filled with bean paste, sold as a South Korean street food. This cake is fried in a lot of oil, it's delicious to eat while it's still warm, so it's popular as a snack during winter. The hotteok doesn't only contain peanut paste, but it also contains brown sugar and it's really delicious! I really like! The savory taste of the dough ingredients mixed with the sweetness of sugar and peanut butter makes this combination perfect for you to eat! The price of this hotteok I bought is 2,000 won.

After walking around the Dongseongno area I found a restaurant called "개정/GaeJeong", this restaurant is very popular in this area even when I want to eat at this place we have to wait, but it's not a problem because I want to eat in a good place! At this restaurant I ordered Naengmyeon, surely you already know what Naengmyeon is right? Naengmyeon is a typical Korean food served cold and also with ice cubes in it! This dish is a very unique combination of a savory, spicy and sour noodle soup but a cold noodle soup! This is really delicious, the price of one portion of this food is 9,000 Won.
If friends later visit South Korea, don't forget to visit the city of Daegu!
