Difference between Korean and Indonesian education systems
South Korea's education system is considered the
best because it managed to reach a literacy level of 100%. Similarly, in the
test analysis and critical thinking, why is it like that? Of course for several
reasons, of course, how not in the country of origin of the EXO boy band,
teachers are highly respected and respected. Because he respected, the teacher
is considered to be in the highest position like a saint.
In contrast to Indonesia where teachers are still
less respected as unsung heroes and not a few of them consider teachers only as
helpers to look after their children at school.
Guys, it turns out that teachers in South Korea are
also very strict and hard in educating their students. In fact, there are still
many teachers who give physical punishment to their students so that they can
understand the lessons taught in class. But in Indonesia this is not the case
because it would violate human rights, when the teacher provides physical
punishment, the teacher will be blamed, well even if it turns out that the
student is wrong.
The last difference is Education in South Korea and
Education in Indonesia. If in Indonesia there are still schools on Saturdays,
it is different than in South Korea, there Saturday is Anti-Holidays Day
Of course, every metal coin has two sides. Behind
this success, there are also negative things that we might not agree with.
Not only that, students in South Korea must study
for 16 hours! Can you do it or not? Able to not be able to do the facts.
Imagine, students in South Korea attend school from morning to night. So long,
many students there who have minus eyes or glasses. If we compare with the time
of the learning process in Indonesia, in Indonesia the learning process in the
class is less than 16 hours, a maximum of 10 hours. But it's more delicious
like that, isn't it too stressful, agree?
As a country with high quality education, South
Korea has very complete educational facilities. In every school there are
projectors, LCD flat screens, computers in each class, to a uniform that is as
cute as in Korean dramas. So complete, every student can use all the facilities
in a satisfied manner.
However, the completeness of the education
facilities makes the education costs become large.
Imagine, to buy a school
uniform for a particular day it takes millions of rupiah, you know!
In Indonesia, joining tutoring is a choice. But, for
students in South Korea, attending tutoring is an obligation.
Therefore, students in South Korea always come home
late at night. Imagine, they study 16 hours a day at school. Already so, after
school they must follow tutoring.
