Culture in Korean corporate work

Disciplined and punctual, South Koreans are known for their discipline, including time discipline. They really value time and don't want time to be wasted. In everyday life in the office, there is no reason for them to be late for office or meetings unless there is a reason that is really urgent. When they have an appointment to meet other people, they will also try to arrive on time.

Fast work patterns, but still giving the best. Workers in South Korea are known for their fast work rhythms, but still provide the best results. Since childhood, South Koreans have been taught to work fast. In a short time, they have many targets that can still be resolved properly. The secret, they will set work targets within a certain period. With the principle of "time is running out", South Koreans generally have a list of daily, weekly and monthly targets that they must achieve. With a list of work targets that have been set beforehand, no time is wasted during work. Not infrequently, South Korean work is done before the allotted time.

Focus while working, One of the keys to working fast in the style of South Koreans is to focus on working. During work hours at the office, they will really use it for work. During that time, they generally will not open social media, read news portals, gossip, or do other trivial things that are not related to work.

Not easily offended, not a few companies in South Korea apply high standards for their workers. Without hesitation, a boss can immediately reprimand or scold subordinates who work slowly or make mistakes. In fact, a boss can scold employees in front of office people in order to be a lesson for other colleagues.

Remarkably, the subordinates who are scolded are generally not easily offended by the reprimand and even become a snip to provide better performance in the future. South Koreans consider the reprimand as a forum for self-improvement.

Do not like to procrastinate, In the work culture in South Korea, postponing work is something that is "forbidden". When working, South Koreans will generally instill the principle "If possible today why wait for tomorrow?". Employees in South Korea will try to get their work done on time even though they have to be willing to do it multitasking. Well, then don't be surprised if the work productivity of employees in South Korea is very high.

Honestly, Honesty is one of the important assets in the world of work. The good news, in general South Koreans still uphold honesty. You can find this honesty in their daily lives, for example South Koreans will return the wallets of others who have fallen to the police station. In the world of work, this honesty becomes very important to prevent unwanted things from happening, such as corruption or falsification of data. Besides being honest, South Koreans are known to be trustworthy. If given a responsibility, they are generally trustworthy and will carry out that responsibility as well as possible. Therefore, don't be surprised when you hear stories of government officials in South Korea resigning if they feel they have failed to make progress or abuse their office.
