Watching films with Honorary reporters Indonesia at the Korean Cultural Center (KCC) Documentary Film "Le Tour: My Last 49 Days"
On Friday, January 15, 2021, the
Indonesian Korean Cultural Center held an event to watch documentary films with
Indonesian honorary reporters, of course by implementing strict health
protocols such as wearing masks, washing hands and of course entering the KCC
area having to check body temperature, documentary films that we Watch titled
"Le Tour: My Last 49 Days", Before the event began, the director of
the Korean cultural center Indonesia gave a speech.
This film tells the story of Far in
2006, Yun-hyeok is a man in his early twenties who is diagnosed with cancer.
Yun-hyeok has to decide what to do with his seemingly limited time. He finally
decided to achieve his lifelong dream by whatever means necessary, and competed
in the Tour de France 2009. "Le Tour: My Last 49 Days" so the genre
of this film is a documentary film consisting of footage by friends who goes
with Yun-hyeok on his last trip. (When I write this article, I still feel the
sadness)
The Tour de France is actually a
sporting event involving bicycles. “Le Tour: My Last 49 Days” went into the
details, and it soon became clear why the idea of competing appealed to
Yun-hyeok. During the Tour de France, participants saw almost the entire country.
This bicycle competition is in France which actually has a very beautiful view.
It's another thing I didn't know before watching the film, because it seems
like the only part of France people talk about is Paris.
It's sad to watch Yun-hyeok climb them.
That she had succeeded in doing so was a testament to the man's will and
determination. In general I don't expect a film about a dying cancer patient to
be inspiring in the end but "Le Tour: My Last 49 Days" was
surprisingly successful at this. No wonder friends and family are willing to
try their best to help him.
"Le Tour: My Last 49 Days",
apart from being an inspiring cancer story, is a very accurate description of
long-term overseas travel, in essence whatever we want then do all we can as
long as we need to struggle to achieve what we get. .
There were 8 honorary attendees at the
KCC. In the screening of this film, as many as 8 people, because considering
that the corona pandemic still occurs in Indonesia, they all, including me,
really enjoyed the film, some were sad to cry to tears after watching this
film, we all did not think that the documentary film This is very sad and of
course this film is full of positive aura and makes us more enthusiastic and of
course always grateful.
