Patbingsoo thirst quencher during the summer

 

patbingsoo is a Korean dessert that is very popular, especially on hot summer days. This snack was first known as sweet red bean shaved ice (팥, pat) which was sold at street vendors. In ancient times as well as today, patbingsu is a very popular food, with additional variations of ice cream and cold yogurt, sweetened condensed milk, fruit syrup, fruits such as strawberries, bananas, tteok rice cakes, chewy jelly and crumbs. - cereal crumbs.

This patbingsoo began to exist since the Joseon Dynasty, which is around 1392. At first, they consumed this shaved ice with red beans, tteok or Korean rice cakes, and peanut powder on top. After that, this dessert developed when South Korea was colonized by Japan from 1910 to 1945. What was originally simple, turned into a dessert with varied toppings such as yogurt, sweetened condensed milk, pieces of fruit, ice cream, cereal, syrup and whipped cream. .

Initially, Patbingsoo was only sold on the roadside, but over time, Patbingsoo can now be found in restaurants and cafes. From time immemorial, Patbingsoo has become a favorite snack for the people of South Korea. Patbingsoo is also famous among the people of South Korean descent in Koreatown, Los Angeles, United States.

INGREDIENTS

 50ml sweetened condensed milk

 30ml coco pandan syrup

 50g boiled red beans

 1 scoop vanilla ice cream

 100g assorted fruits

 100g shaved ice

 

INSTRUCTIONS

Prepare the fruit, then cut according to taste.

Take a large bowl and fill it with shaved ice, solidify. Leave room for the fruit on top.

Place the fruit in the bowl until it covers the shaved ice.

Add ice cream, then red beans.

Then don't forget to pour the milk and syrup into the fruit and ice cream.
