Korea Corner Established at the National University Jakarta Indonesia
The Korean Cultural Center Indonesia (under the leadership of Director Kim Yong-Woon) in collaboration with the Korean Foundation opened the Korea Corner at the National University, Jakarta in November 2020. The existence of the Korea Corner is to promote Korean culture. The Korea Corner project aims to promote various things about Korean culture, with locations such as universities, libraries or cultural gyms. Previously, the Korea Corner was opened at the University of Indonesia, the Indonesian Education University (Bandung), Hasanuddin University (Makassar), and Bina Nusantara University (Jakarta). The Korea Corner which is located on the lobby floor on the main campus of the National University is based on the concept of a Hanok (traditional Korean house) consisting of two rooms.
